Landlords are keeping Homes Vacant & Leaving the Market, Rental Crisis Ireland

Irish landlords leaving the market every Day

Why are Small Irish landlords leaving the market every day? What small IT change has forced many landlords to leave the market. Why are some landlords opting to keep properties empty?

Trying to find rental property is getting harder, but if rents are going up, why are landlords leaving and why is getting a place to rent getting even harder?

Over a year ago I created a video warning about the rental crisis and how it was going to get worse. I stated that the rental crisis was a far bigger problem for Ireland and the economy than the home-buying crisis. And that more people would suffer due to upcoming regulation changes.

I called out a number of proposed regulation changes that would have a damaging effect on the rental sector, and it played out as predicted. Ireland’s housing crisis is getting worse.

But there was one change I did not see coming and what impact that would have. Which I will explain in a minute.
