EU considering ban on weapons sales to United Arab Emirates
Amnesty International has accused the Sudanese paramilitary Rapid Support Forces of committing war crimes in the town of El-Fasher – and says the United Arab Emirates had “facilitated” their action. The UAE is accused of supplying the weapons used by the RSF. Now, the European Parliament is considering a ban on weapons sales to Abu Dhabi.
