Australian intelligence agencies have not changed the ‘definition’ of a terrorist act

NSW independent MP Tania Mihailuk says the Victorian Human Rights Commission, as well as the Human Rights Commission, have proposed to “remove religion” as a motivation in acts of terrorism.

“It would change the definition of terrorist act in its entirety if it were removed,” Ms Mihailuk told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio.
“All the Australian agencies are saying there should not be any change to the definition of a terrorist act.”
