Cubans brace for tougher times as Venezuela’s oil lifeline faces uncertainty

Cuba’s economy relies heavily on oil supplies from Venezuela, and any disruption to those shipments could worsen the island’s fuel shortages.
US President Donald Trump has claimed Cuba is “ready to fall” without Venezuelan support, arguing that Havana cannot survive economically if the oil flow is cut.
His remarks come amid renewed pressure on Venezuela and its allies.
Many Cubans fear even tougher conditions if energy supplies decline further.
