At UNGA 2025, Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan devoted much of his speech to the ongoing crisis in Gaza.
“I stand here on this podium alongside my 86 million citizens. Also, for our Palestinian brothers and sisters whose voices are being silenced,” Erdoğan said.
He thanked the countries that have recognized the State of Palestine and urged all other nations to do the same, highlighting the need for international solidarity and action against Israeli atrocities in Gaza.
