Israeli settlers have besieged several homes in the occupied West Bank, including one owned by a Palestinian American, who fears for his family’s lives.
“We need protection. We need to live freely now in our own house,” says Loudi Ridi, who lives in Ohio, but owns a home besieged by the Israeli settlers.
Residents trapped in their homes by the settlers are beginning to run out of food and water, with some relying on old wells that are not safe for drinking.
Ruqaya Hassan, a Palestinian whose home was besieged says they “have been subjected to daily attacks… during the day and night,” adding that her “daughters were overcome with fear and panic due to the settlers.”
Roadblocks made by Israeli settlers are preventing families from leaving safely.
