Arthur C. Clarke was an amazing and innovative writer and scientist. His concept for “extraterrestrial relay stations”, now known as geostationary satellite systems, have changed our world. Though Konstantin Tsiolkovsky first spoke of space elevators it was Arthur Clarke who popularized the idea in his novel “The Fountains of Paradise”.Credit Terran Space Academy
