‘It’s about domestic audiences’: Xi Jinping and Donald Trump’s prior meeting analysed

Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer says Chinese President Xi Jinping didn’t look like he was having “fun” at his last meeting with US President Donald Trump, saying meetings between the two leaders are about satisfying domestic audiences.
“Xi Jinping didn’t look like he was having fun either,” Mr Spicer told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“I think in both cases it’s about domestic audiences, first and foremost.”
