Since I get asked a lot about how to go to the bathroom when I’m off grid, here’s my current setup. I love my privacy tent and even though it takes a little longer to set up than a pop-up tent, it still doesn’t take long (under 5 minutes) and I love that it’s fully enclosed (unlike most pop-up tents) so creepy crawlies can’t get in. I like using my foldable toilet, an InstaPrivy, because it’s lightweight, easy to set up, and very stable. The bags are designed to be disposed of like a diaper, just toss in a trash bin. And you can buy biodegradable bags..
