Official figures show that at least 69 people have died and over 140 have been injured

Search and rescue efforts are underway in the central Philippines following a 6.9-magnitude earthquake that has killed at least 69 people.
The earthquake toppled buildings and triggered a landslide near Bogo City on the island of Cebu. Rescue workers are struggling to access the island’s more remote areas.
