The Philippines, US, Japan Conduct Trilateral Amphibious Landing

Trilateral Amphibious Landing

U.S. and Philippine Marines, alongside the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, conduct an amphibious beach landing during KAMANDAG 3 in Manila Bay, Philippines, Oct. 12, 2019.

KAMANDAG is an acronym for the Filipino phrase “Kaagapay Ng Mga Manirigma Ng Dagat,” which translates to “Cooperation of the Warriors of the Sea,” highlighting the partnership between the U.S. and Philippine militaries.
