French President Emmanuel Macron met with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly Session in New York. The duo met a day after France formally recognised Palestine state at a Two-State Solution conference co-chaired by Paris and Riyadh at the UNGA. Trump condemned Western moves to recognize Palestine, arguing such actions reward Hamas’s atrocities and reaffirmed his support for Israel.
