Iran’s parliamentary speaker said that Tehran is preparing “new cards on the battlefield” if fighting with the US resumes.

A ceasefire between the two countries is due to expire on Wednesday and US President Donald Trump said an extension is “highly unlikely”.

US media reports that Vice-President JD Vance will travel to Pakistan on Tuesday, but Tehran hasn’t confirmed it will send a delegation for talks in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad.
