What is the Current State of Russia’s Military Arsenal? | DW News January 26, 2023 Nicola Top Military News </p> <h2>State of Russia’s Military Arsenal</h2> <p> Ukraine declared a nationwide air raid alert on Thursday as Russia continues its missile attacks.<br /> The head of Ukraine’s army, Valery Zaluzhny, said Russia launched 55 air and sea-based missiles.<br /> “Ukraine’s armed forces destroyed 47 cruise missiles, 20 of them in the area of the capital,” he added on the Telegram messaging service.<br /> The Russian military has been firing missiles and drones at critical infrastructure, notably energy facilities, since October.<br /> Kyiv’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko, said one person had been killed in the capital, the first death there from an attack in the capital since New Year’s Eve.
