Wokeness is ‘Determined’ to Kill off Humour August 19, 2022 Unipro2013main Politics, World Politics - Geopolitics </p> <h2> Cancellation of Monty Python’s Terry Gilliam</h2> <p> Sky News host Rowan Dean says the “disgusting” cancellation of Monty Python’s Terry Gilliam after a “perfectly harmless gag” proves wokeness is killing off humour.</p> <p>Mr Gilliam recently spoke to the UK Telegraph, where he said Britain is no longer a “nirvana” for him due to woke culture.</p> <p>The comedian was ‘cancelled’ from a directing job at prestigious London theatre The Old Vic after a series of jokes were deemed disrespectful.</p> <p>“The depressing thing about all this is Gilliam’s revelations in the Telegraph interview about how none of the other members of Monty Python came to his support during the witch-hunt against him last year,” Mr Dean said.</p> <p>“None of them. John Cleese, Eric Idle, Michael Palin.
