COP26: Taoiseach says Ireland ready to play its Part to tackle Climate Change

United Nations COP26 summit in Glasgow

Taoiseach Micheál Martin has told the United Nations COP26 summit in Glasgow that the scale of climate change is unprecedented.

However he said Ireland is ready to play its part.

It comes as world leaders agreed two major deals – the first to cut global emissions of methane gas, while the other promises to end deforestation by 2030.
