Germany’s Merz says he will not work with the far right if elected on Feb 23rd

Germany’s opposition conservative leader says his party will not work with the far right if – as expected – the conservatives win this month’s national elections. The CDU’s leader Friedrich Merz is likely to become Germany’s next chancellor. He’s being criticized for presenting an anti-immigration motion in parliament that relied on support from the far-right AfD.
