Iran-Saudi Arabia deal?
Iran and Saudi Arabia have agreed to re-establish diplomatic relations and re-open embassies within two months, after years of tensions. The surprise agreement was brokered by China, which hailed it as a ‘victory’ for dialogue and peace. The restoration of ties offers hope for peace in Yemen, where Saudi Arabia has led a coalition against the Iranian-backed Houthis.
