A flashpoint between Russia and Europe
Residents in Moldova fear renewed fighting at the border with breakaway region Transnistria. Russian soldiers are stationed in a separatist area. DW correspondent Fanny Facsar visited Moldovan enclaves surrounded by Transnistria, where people are concerned about Russia’s influence in Transnistria and a potential war between Moldova and Russia.
