How Safe Is US Airspace?

Less than a week after it shot down a Chinese ‘spy’ balloon over Atlantic, the US has downed another high-flying object over Alaska. US officials said the mystery object was “roughly the size of a small car” and stressed that its origins were yet unknown. Pentagon sent an F-35 fighter jet to check on the object which was eventually shot down by an F-22 Raptor. This is the second ‘kill’ for the F-22 Raptor after it downed the Chinese spy balloon off the coast of South Carolina on Feb 4.
